    My purpose for visiting Porters Lodge was to celebrate Thanksgiving in a serene environment. Everything about the lodge exceeded my expectations, but what stood out the most was the stunning mountain view from the sun terrace. It truly felt like a piece of paradise. The attention to detail in providing comfort, such as the plush carpeted floors in some rooms, made my stay even more enjoyable.
